Overview & Reviews
In an attempt to revive Monte Carlo's performance image, Chevrolet adds a supercharged SS version for 2004. The LS gets new 17-inch aluminum wheels, and there are a couple new appearance packages, Sport and Winner's Circle, available on the LS and non-supercharged SS.
- Spacious interior, low sticker price, strong acceleration with supercharged V6.
- Mediocre performance on non-supercharged models, bland interior with cheap materials, no passenger side-impact airbag.

Comfort and Reliable - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Lynne - March 5 - 2:00 amSo far so good with the choice of this Monte Carlo! Love the look and style! I personally had alittle trouble Estimating my front end room for a few weeks parking...but that came the more I drove it. Handled very well in our First Snow of the year...and is very floaty when your driving on long trips. Plenty of front seat room also.

Fine with me - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By GLDruss - March 5 - 2:00 amMy 2003 Monte Carlo LS in Superior Blue Metallic is a people-stopper with its beautiful exterior lines. The interior could have used more style, but its comfortable enough. So far, I love the car. Some review called it a "flashback," but not in a positive way. I like it because it is a flash back to when cars had style and personality instead of all looking alike.

Dont buy base... - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Monicca - January 21 - 2:00 amI have the Supercharged SS and its an incredible car. Excellent acceleration, smooth ride, comfortable interior, and lots of nice extras. Its definitely mid-sized but it has all the style of a sports car. I traded in a Mustang Cobra because although it was sweet, it was also loud, cramped, and overall uncomfortable. I dont regret the decision... My friend bought a Monte about a month after I did but he got the base model. Acceleration with the base is nothing spectacular, its extras are minimal, and its just not fun. You wouldnt think there would be such a huge difference but its well worth the extra money.

Fun Family Car - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Herbert - January 21 - 2:00 amThe best performing car that Chevy has come out with (for its size), since the 1963 to 1965 Corvette. Has plenty of interior (even with sun roof) for people that are 6 feet 3 inches tall. Has plenty of trunk space for extended trips.

A very good car - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Bill - January 13 - 12:50 pmI bought my car new. I have driven it 68000 miles. I have never had any problems with it, and I get very good gas mileage. It still looks new inside and out, and I hope to drive it another 5 or 6 years. For a Chevrolet, I think it is a very good product.
